EcoMed Pharmaceuticals has recently discovered and is responsible for possible bacterial contamination in certain lots of their ultrasound gel. In line with this, Red Medical Supplies has to recall the following products: Red Medical Ultrasound Gel Blue, Green and Clear.
We would like to clarify that only Ultrasound Gels may have been affected by the contamination. All other products are completely safe to use. Furthermore, the matter is still under investigation, and there is no certainty as yet on whether the products have actually been contaminated or not. Therefore, the manufacturer is currently conducting an investigation to identify the cause of the contamination.
